550 fishermen slaves were found in a remote island in Indonesia. Most of them were found to be Burmese. when the men were interviewed they said that they were tricked or kidnapped and brought to Indonesia to work under terrible conditions and beaten if caught sick or resting. They were used to catch seafood so that it could be sold in Thailand. They were brought to Taul were they are getting medical treatment and food, but their living quarters are cramped.
